This method of working has been developed over a 30 year period and has proved to be successful and reliable in both the manufacture and installation of synthetic sports surfaces.
Polytan insist on the finest raw materials and has a rigid in-house quality control. These along with the above mentioned methods of working and installation, enables us to provide and extensive and reliable guarantee further support by substantial product insurance.
In keeping with the Polytan reputation, we can manufacture materials within 2 weeks of receipt of order, shipping and transport takes approximately 4 weeks with installation taking a further 3-4 weeks, depending on the selected surface.
Our Achievements
 The following competitions were all held on Polytan running tracks, the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok (Where 14 new Asian records were set), the 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 Nike classic at the Melbourne Olympic Stadium, the 1998 European Championships in Budapest, the IAAF Grand Prix meetings at Crystal Palace UK and the successful 2002 European Championships at the Munich Olympic Stadium, Germany. Furthermore, last years IAAF 2001 Grand Prix final, a meeting of the worlds top athletes, was held on Polytan PUR running track at the Khalifa Stadium Doha, Qatar.
The FIH (International Hockey Federation) have approved and certified our systems and awarded Polytan the hockey field in Cuba, which was jointly funded by the FIH and IOC (International Olympic Committee) Foundation. Polytan Hockey surfaces have been used for the 1995 Champions Trophy (Berlin) and again at the 1999Champions Trophy in Brisbane, for the Women's 10th World Cup 2001 qualifier in Amiens France, and the FIH 2002 Champions Trophy was held on a Polytan Megaturf artificial grass surface at Cologne Germany.
Our latest technology in artificial turf for football has been installed at the Liverpool Football Club Academy of Football, NIKA FC Moscow, Spartak FC Moscow, Kaiserslautern FC, Hertha BSC Berlin FC, Freiburg FC and Bayern Munich FC. Our artificial turf systems are approved by the Belarus, Norwegian and Swedish Football Federations. Polytan are FIFA registered and approved manufacturers and installers of artificial grass for football and we have recently installed artificial grass football fields in Latvia, Maldives, Azerbaijan, Moldova and DPR Korea, as part of their "FIFA Goal" development projects We have laid an artificial grass football field at Salzburg Austria, where the surface will be used for the UEFA Champions League Competition.
